JW Biava is a highly experienced Certified Mold Inspector (CMI), Certified Mold Remediation Contractor (CMRC), Lead Certified professional, and AHERA Inspector. His career in environmental assessments began at the young age of 13, when he joined Assaigai Analytical Laboratories. Through hands-on experience in both laboratory analysis and indoor air quality inspections, JW developed a deep expertise in identifying environmental health risks.
Driven by his personal experience with the health impacts of mold exposure, JW transformed Assaigai into AirWell, a specialized indoor air quality inspection service that focuses on mold, asbestos, and other pollutants. His commitment to improving indoor environments also led to the founding of ImmunoLytics Laboratory, which plays a vital role in helping doctors assess potential health risks posed by mold in their patients’ homes.
JW’s inspection and assessment firm has conducted over 100,000 inspections and assessments, making it a trusted name in the industry. As a board member of the International Society of Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI) and a member of the Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP) committee, JW is a key figure in shaping standards and protocols for the industry.
