Our Laboratory

Since 1980, the laboratory at AirWell has been servicing the environmental community in the testing of air, soil, and water.

The laboratory at AirWell began corporate life in 1980 as Assaigai Analytical Laboratories, analyzing environmental samples for the mining and exploration industries. By the mid-1980s we became what we are today, a full-service, accredited environmental analysis laboratory focused on indoor air quality and industrial hygiene.

Assaigai Analytical Laboratories and Oklahoma Natural Environmental Specialists joined forces to create AirWell.

About Assaigai

Meaning “spear” in the African Zulu language, Assaigai began its corporate life in 1980 as a mining service lab analyzing environmental samples for the coal, uranium, copper, oil and gas mining, and exploration industries. By the mid-1980s, Assaigai began a transition to the burgeoning concerns of environmental protection and became a full-service, accredited environmental analysis laboratory.

About Oklahoma Natural Environmental Specialists

Founded by Jeff Bookout in the mid-2000s. Oklahoma Natural Environmental Specialists inspected and helped create restoration plans for homeowners and others who suffered negative health effects from mold. Jeff soon became a trusted voice known in the environmentally acquired illness community and has spoken at conferences and interviewed on industry-leading podcasts.
